Hugh O. Hunter, Jr. is a Birmingham business owner and nationally renowned commercial photographer who has worked with agencies, design firms, and corporations such as BellSouth, Blount International, Boeing, HealthSouth, IBM, International Expeditions and Home & Garden Television.
Hugh graduated cum laude with a fine arts degree in photography from Ohio University. For more that twenty years he perfected his craft, and has an award-winning photograph published in Ten Thousand Eyes, a book commemorating 150 years of photography.
Hugh took his first of many international trips to the Amazon region for International Expeditions in 1994. His exposure to he nature of the region instilled in him a profound interest and developed his expertise in motion pictures. Subsequent trips to Indonesia, Costa Rica, Belize, and Africa broadened this expertise.
Along with his partner Alan, he too is driving force in the burgeoning film industry developing in Alabama.
